Many of those involved in Baptist work in Israel came to pay tribute to David and celebrate his years of service to the Lord. It was an evening of laughter as they recalled the many practical jokes that are inevitable when American and Arab cultures come together and it was also a time to reflect on the beautiful partnership between this man and the local Baptist community
Nurturing the faith of young people is critical to the life and work of the church. Unfortunately, this long-standing conference was on hold for a number of years due to lack of funding, and we are delighted and thankful to be back at it, knowing just how vital it is in the faith lives of our young people
Christian schools in Israel that include our Nazareth Baptist School have been on strike since the beginning of the school year and did not open the academic year 2015 – 2016. They are protesting a decision by the Israeli government to shrink their funding, to a point that it became impossible for them to survive
