Bader Mansour, development officer of ABC, organizes a visit of a unique delegation of prominent American musicians and writers to Nazareth Baptist School, to learn about the complexities of the region.
The delegation included: Colum McCann, author of “Let the Great World Spin” which won the National Book Award in 2009. Mickey Madden, the bass player for Maroon 5. Lisa Consiglio, Executive Director of Narrative 4. Paige Elkington designer, model, and actress. Susie Lopez, a fundraiser for children educational programs. Tristan O’Shea, musician, and ethnomusicologist. Rob Spillman, editor of Tin House, an American literary magazine. Greg Khalil President of Telos Group who leads the group.
The delegation met with school students and also with Botrus Mansour, Director of Nazareth Baptist School, together with teachers Lili Jarjoura Khoury, Liza Nassar Shehadeh, and educational councilor Abeer Odeh Mansour.
