The Family Ministry stands as a fundamental part of our ministries, striving to deliver Bible-based teachings about the family to local churches. Through courses and events, the ministry seeks to empower families in navigating the challenges prevalent in our society today. The coordinator of this ministry is Sister Daad Odeh.

One of the various activities organized by the Family Ministry is an event known as “Family Day.” During this, the Family Ministry hosted a one-day conference hosted by a local church. Last week, the Baptist church in Tur’an graciously hosted the event for its members within its church building. The church building is going through continuous improvements which made it possible for the program to be held there. The church premises include a yard, a hall and few rooms, in addition to a guesthouse at the top of the building, allowing to host groups from abroad for overnight stay. It is led by the energetic pastor Ziad Farraj.

The day started with coffee, casual conversations, worship, and a brief devotion. In total, two workshops were conducted, focusing on enhancing and strengthening familial relationships. In one of the workshops, participants engaged in hands-on activities with clay, aligning with the concepts presented. Following lunch, church members actively took part in games designed to foster unity and deepen mutual understanding. The following pictures are examples of that:

It was a beautiful day filled with games, activities and fellowship.
