The Board of Trustees of the Association of Baptist Churches is delighted to announce the appointment of Brother Rani Saba as its General Director.

Rani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Haifa University and a Master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Nazareth Evangelical College. Since 2003, he has served as the Director of Administrative Affairs at Nazareth Village.

A third-generation Baptist, Rani has been shepherding the Baptist Church in Nof HaGalil since early 2022. His lifelong dedication to Christian ministry is evident from his service since childhood across various churches, where he has been involved in youth ministry, worship, and playing the piano.

His tenure with the Association of Baptist Churches is marked by significant contributions, having served multiple terms as a member of the Executive Committee, a youth ministry coordinator, and a member of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, his involvement extends to other Christian ministries, including the Convention of Evangelical Churches, the Fellowship of Christian Students, and the Emmaus School for Bible Studies.

Rani is married to Rasha Grayeb-Saba, who is the General Director of the Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel. Together, they reside in the city of Nazareth.

Rani succeeds Monther Naum, who was our executive director in part time capacity between 2015 and 2022. In the last year, the executive director position was vacant and responsibilities were handled by Bader Mansour, Development Officer and Khaled Dalleh, Ministry Officer.

Rani will commence his duties on March 1, 2024.
