In an atmosphere full of joy and in the presence of the Lord, the ABC Youth Ministry held, for the first time, a young adults day titled “Compass” on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Evangelical Baptist Church in Kafr Yasif, with the participation of approximately 65 young men and women from different towns.
The purpose of the gathering was to help young adults make wise decisions based on God’s Word, allowing Christ to be the faithful compass guiding their journey.
The program opened with a welcoming address by Brother Rani Saba, ABC General Director, who emphasized the importance of spiritual guidance rooted in God’s Word in a world full of challenges, and encouraged participants to be agents of change in their communities through lives that reflect Christ.
Following this, the worship team from the Baptist Church in Tur’an, led by Brother Suheil Obeid, led the participants in a special time of praise and worship.
Brother Nicola Odeh, ABC Youth Ministry Coordinator, then delivered a message titled “Our Decisions and Their Impact on Our Spiritual Life”, stressing that both daily and life-changing decisions shape the path of a believer.
Participants then attended three age-appropriate seminars:
- “Making Decisions in Life’s Journey” – led by Brother Naeem Barhoum
- “How to Choose a Life Partner with Maturity, Love, and Commitment” – led by the couple Rani and Rasha Saba
- “Growth and Self-Development” – led by Sisters Iman Odeh and Razan Ajaj
The day also featured a special time of fellowship around a shared meal, reflecting the unity of the one body in Christ.
The program concluded with a time of praise led by Sister Alhan Abu Shaqara and the worship team from the Baptist Church in Eilabun.
“Compass” was more than just a gathering; it was a spiritual milestone where young adults stood before the Lord, renewing their commitment to let Christ be the true compass guiding every decision and step in their lives. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Youth Ministry team working with Brother Nicola Odeh for their wonderful preparation, coordination, and organization of this special day, and to all brothers and sisters who contributed and participated in its diverse activities, as well as to the hosting church.
