A Message of Hope Amid Challenges
This summer, six Baptist churches across the country hosted a series of vibrant Vacation Bible Schools (VBSs), welcoming nearly 600 children from different ages, backgrounds, and faith traditions.
The children experienced meaningful spiritual activities that blessed their lives, along with fun-filled recreational and social programs. Each day was marked by joy, fellowship, and an openness to encounter God in new ways.
More than just events, these VBSs became living platforms for sharing God’s Word with the hearts of children and their families. Through them, the churches reached households weighed down by exhaustion, brokenness, separation, grief, and the instability caused by war and uncertainty.
Amid these challenges, the VBSs carried a clear message of hope: the Kingdom of Light is real and present—offering refuge for the weary, healing for those who cry out “Heal me”, and light for every heart willing to respond to Christ’s call: “Follow Me!”
The Baptist churches sowed seeds of God’s Word not only in the lives of the children but also in the hearts of their families. Each boy and girl returned home carrying songs of praise and spiritual truths that bring comfort and hope in the midst of darkness.
In the end, these VBSs stood as a true “message of life,” declaring to every wounded heart: “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid… My eyes are upon you.”
Please pray with us for these kids and their parents, that the seed of God’s Word would grow. We also thank all those who prayed, volunteered, and supported these VBSs.
