The ABC Children’s Ministry held a special training and fellowship retreat on Friday and Saturday, October 3–4, at Beit Shalom in Haifa, bringing together Sunday School teachers and children’s ministry workers.

The training focused on the importance of partnership and communication among ministry leaders, as well as the psychological challenges children face in light of the current difficult circumstances in the country. Topics included feelings such as anger, pain, and fear, and practical solutions were discussed to help raise a healed and spiritually grounded generation.

The retreat also addressed the importance of sexual awareness and education, equipping teachers to better understand the thoughts and emotions of the children they serve.
During the training, the Bible Society introduced the “Children of the King of Peace” curriculum, providing valuable materials for use in Sunday School.

Participants also explored personal devotion practices and how to teach children about them, aiming to raise a generation connected to their Creator and Savior, with suggested workshops for children aged 9–13 years.

The gathering concluded in a warm and collaborative atmosphere, filled with participation, idea-sharing, and new insights to strengthen the Children’s Ministry in ABC churches.

Please pray for the Children’s Ministry, its teachers, and the challenges they face, that the Lord may continue to use them to build this next generation.
