Children’s Ministry | Association of Baptist Churches in Israel (ABC)
On December 5, 2025, the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel (ABC) joyfully hosted the “Birth of Joy” celebration as part of its ongoing Children’s Ministry. The event brought together approximately 120 children from ABC churches across the country and was graciously hosted by the Baptist Church in Cana.
This celebration was made possible through the faithful collaboration of our churches and the dedicated service of many young volunteers who invested their time, energy, and love. In a warm and family-centered atmosphere, children experienced joy, belonging, and care—an expression of the unity of the Baptist churches and the love of Christ, especially during a season marked by ongoing social, emotional, and security challenges that deeply affect children in Israel.
The impact of this day reached far beyond the event itself. For many children, Birth of Joy provided a safe and hopeful space to laugh, connect, and be reminded that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. At the same time, the gathering strengthened fellowship among ABC churches, uniting them around a shared mission: to proclaim hope and bear witness to the light of Christ that continues to shine, even in difficult times.
Through initiatives like Birth of Joy, ABC reaffirms that children’s ministry is not simply a program, but a long-term spiritual investment in the next generation. In the midst of ongoing instability, the Association remains committed to serving children and families by offering spaces of safety, love, discipleship, and spiritual formation rooted firmly in God’s Word.
Birth of Joy was not merely a celebration—it was a proclamation of hope. It stands as a living testimony that darkness does not have the final word, and that in Christ, joy can still be born. Our children deserve environments where faith is nurtured, hope is restored, and joy is experienced—and by God’s grace, this is the work ABC continues to do across Israel.
