The ABC Youth Ministry is thrilled to share the exciting launch of the new “Gap Year” program, designed especially for high school graduates — the result of a full year of prayer, preparation, and planning!
This inspiring initiative was made possible through a blessed partnership between the ABC, the Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel (FCSI), and the First Fruits Ministry.
The journey began with a three-day conference held on October 3–5 at the Nes Ammim Conference Center, bringing together 14 passionate young men and women from various ABC churches across the country.
Throughout the conference, participants explored their spiritual gifts, took personality assessments, and reflected deeply on their values, vision, and life mission. They also engaged with the principles of God’s Kingdom, seeking to understand their role in God’s redemptive story, while practicing spiritual disciplines that nurture growth and steadfast faith.
We believe the Holy Spirit will continue to lead each participant to discover their unique calling, and that the gifts they identified will bear fruit in their churches and communities as they walk faithfully in God’s will and serve in His Kingdom. The “Gap Year” program is designed to help young people discern their future path — whether pursuing higher education or entering the workforce — with a clear sense of purpose and calling. The program will continue throughout the coming year through quarterly gatherings, and plans are already underway to welcome a new group of graduates in next year’s cycle.
