The Association of Baptist Churches in Israel (ABC) is the home mission and umbrella for Baptist Churches in Israel, the largest network of evangelical churches in the country, with 18 churches, 1000 baptized members, and a community of 3000 people.

ABC’s mission is to support churches in every way possible. We do this by providing resources to churches. We build specialized ministries for youth, women, and children to serve all churches. We engage all talents available, all for the sake of building spiritual, social, and educational ministries for expanding the Kingdom of God in Israel and beyond.

History

The Baptist ministry in the Holy Land started in 1911 and was adapted in 1923 by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, which supported the work and ministry until 1991. Since then, the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel (ABC) is serving as the umbrella organization for Baptist churches and ministries throughout the Holy Land. The ABC and its member churches actively work together with different denominations of Christians to strengthen the Christian witness in the Holyland, where God chose to dwell and become human.
