The Ministry Committee, elected by the Annual General Assembly, is an integral part of the ministry of the Association of Baptist Churches. It is responsible for all matters pertaining to the recognition of pastors and the exercise of their ministry within the ABC. Its members provide leadership training and mentoring to new pastors and church leaders.
The Ministry Committee also intervenes in disputes that may occur within and between churches that are members of the ABC to insure healthy relationships within the body of Christ. It provides recommendations to the ABC general assembly on expansion and new church plants, as well as what ministries are eligible for financial support, based on the annual budget.
