ABC Ministries

  • ABC Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry, coordinated by Rev. Ashraf Abishai has greatly blessed the surrounding communities in the region of Galilee. Many families have opened their homes to begin bible studies and hear the Word of God. Great things continue to happen and people are coming to accept the Lord as their personal savior on a regular basis. Recently, 35 new believers were baptized in the Jordan and many more are coming forward. Some young people are even making the decision to study for the ministry. Please keep this vital ministry in your prayers as it continues to make great impacts for the Lord in the region of Galilee.

  • Nazareth Center for Christian Studies
In September of 2007, the Nazareth Center for Christian Studies opened its doors as "a center for theological learning and Holy Land studies in central Nazareth open to all Christians... that seeks to partner with and serve all evangelical churches in Israel." NCCS will be offering the Spurgeons Bachelor of Divinity degree and also the NCCS pre-Masters Certificate as preparation for the International Baptist Theological Seminary (Prague) Master of Theology degrees which we hope to offer in 2008.

  • Potter's Wheel Summer Camps
For over 40 years, children across the Galilee region have participated in The Potter's Wheel summer camp, located at the Baptist Village retreat facility near Tel-Aviv. Every year, 300-400 children between the ages of 9-14 spend five life-changing days participating in sports, games, music, arts and crafts and other forms of entertainment, all in a Christ-centered environment. This camp provides a wonderful platform for sharing Christ with local children, and at just the right age for them to be really be molded by the true "Potter's" hands.
This summer camp is sponsored by the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, together with other ministries. Most of the children come from Arabic Baptist Churches in Nazareth, Cana, Toraan, Eilaboun, Haifa, Acre and more. Many others wish to come but cannot afford the cost.
